Teen Girls Wear a New Cyber Scarlet Letter

Dr. Scapegoat has  been collecting New York Times articles dealing with any form of overt scapegoating.  Women “win”  hands down.  Close to 90% of offenses are directed at them.

This clip is about teenage boys who put risque pictures of girls, often their girl friends,  on to  the social media.  It’s painful to hear the girls and boys talking about their experience–doing and being done to. I got a better understanding of “honor offenses” in the Middle East. Lots of these kids, mostly North Americans, were more worried about what their parents thought than damage to themselves.
